Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Atlas AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an AI-powered growth platform operated by Atlas AI (“Company”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you (“User,” “you”) use our platform at atlas-ai.uk (“Service”).

By registering an account, connecting your social media accounts, or otherwise using the Service, you expressly and voluntarily consent to the collection, processing, and use of your data as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Voluntary Grant of Access

When you connect your Threads, X (Twitter), or other social media account to Atlas AI, you voluntarily and explicitly authorize the Service to access your account data via the platform’s official API. This authorization includes:

  • Reading your published posts, analytics metrics, and profile information.
  • Creating, scheduling, and publishing posts on your behalf according to your configured strategy settings.
  • Searching public content to identify engagement opportunities.
  • Generating and posting replies/comments on your behalf upon your approval.

You may revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting the integration in the platform Settings or directly through the social platform’s account settings. Revocation does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to revocation.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account Information

Name, email address, hashed password, and optional company/team details provided during registration.

3.2 Social Media API Data

Upon voluntary connection of your social accounts, we collect and store:

  • Access tokens — encrypted using AES-256, stored solely to authenticate API requests on your behalf.
  • Post content and performance data — your published posts, impressions, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, and other engagement metrics.
  • Profile data — username, follower/following counts, bio, and profile category.
  • Keyword search results — public posts matching your keywords, used to surface engagement opportunities within the platform.

3.3 Strategy and Configuration Data

Topics, keywords, hashtags, tone-of-voice instructions, example posts, audience settings, and all other strategy configuration you enter in the platform.

3.4 AI Training Data (Per-Account)

Your post performance data, audience engagement patterns, and approved content are used to fine-tune and improve the AI agent exclusively for your own account. This personalization data is never shared with or used to improve AI models for other users. By using the Service, you grant Atlas AI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process this data for the purpose of providing and improving the Service to you.

3.5 Usage Data

Server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used for security, debugging, and performance optimization.

4. Use of Your Data

We use collected data exclusively to:

  • Generate, schedule, and publish content on connected social accounts on your behalf.
  • Analyze post performance and deliver analytics dashboards.
  • Personalize and continuously improve the AI agent’s content quality for your specific account, audience, and niche.
  • Discover relevant public posts for potential engagement per your strategy settings.
  • Send transactional communications (account activation, security alerts, usage notifications).
  • Ensure platform security, prevent fraud, and enforce these policies.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it to train AI models that benefit other users.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only as follows:

  • Meta Platforms / Threads API — governed by the Meta Platform Terms.
  • AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) — your content and context are transmitted to generate posts and replies. These providers process data under their own policies and contractually commit not to train their public models on API data.
  • Infrastructure providers — hosting and database services that process data solely on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements — if required by applicable law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained for as long as your account is active. Post analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. Access tokens are deleted immediately upon account disconnection.

Upon account deletion, all your personal data, social account tokens, posts, and configuration are permanently deleted within 30 days. To request deletion, contact [email protected] or use the account deletion feature in Settings.

7. Security

All access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256). Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. We apply role-based access controls, and no employee accesses user data without a legitimate operational reason.

Despite our security measures, no system is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk. We will notify you of any breach that materially affects your data as required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or obtain a portable copy of your data. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

You may revoke social media API access at any time. Revocation does not constitute a claim for damages for prior authorized processing.

9. Meta / Threads API Compliance

Our use of the Meta Threads API complies with Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies. We request only minimum necessary permissions, do not use data for advertising profiling, and do not transfer data to brokers.

10. Cookies

We use only session authentication cookies. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
